Ayodya Resort Nusa Dua
Ayodya Resort is a five star Balinese themed hotel located in Jalan Pantai Mengiat, Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia. Nusa Dua is a gated resort community that is surrounded by pristine beaches. Ayodya Resort is named after Ayodya, a place in India. Ayodya is the kingdom of Lord Rama, one of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu according to Hindu Mythology. Throughout the hotel, the Rama theme is echoed in all the restaurants.
Based on this theme, there are statues, fountains, carved relief and lagoon pools at many places inside the resort. Ayodya Resort is situated on the south side of Bali, and therefore, it is surrounded by lush vegetation.
Rooms
Ayodya Resort has 538 rooms that have excellent views of the lagoon, the ocean, the swimming pool, the garden or the golf course. Each room has teak wood floors and the furniture is crafted out of timber. Each room has an electronic key card security system.
Facilities
Ayodya Resort offers many facilities to its guests. Each room has a satellite television connection, high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection, mini bar cabinet, a balcony with a beautiful view, an electronic safe and a hairdryer. There are all weather covered tennis courts, jogging tracks, squash courts, a volley ball court, an eighteen hole golf course close to the hotel, a state of the art gymnasium and fitness center that is fully air conditioned, games rooms, wayan made kids clubs and a nine hole mini golf course within the resort itself. There are separate swimming pools for adults and children.
For business people there are conference rooms, meeting rooms and a business center with fax machines, photocopiers and interpreters. Lunch and dinner can also be arranged for a large number of people.
Eating and Dining
There are a lot of dining options available to guests. The Rama Lounge and Terrace, overlooking the ocean offers coffee, light snacks, cakes, and cocktails. A coffee bar ‘Java Hut’ is located close to The Rama Lounge. For Oriental and Indonesian food, The Waterfall Restaurant is open round the clock and themed buffets are quite popular here.
Genji, a Japanese restaurant offers traditional Teppanyaki tables and private Tatami rooms. There is a Sushi bar as well. The waitresses and waiters are clad in Kimono.
Wood fired pizzas and Mediterranean food are available along with drinks and cocktails at the Octopus Restaurant. Next to the beach is the Lagoona Restaurant that offers barbeque food for lunch and dinner. A snack spot, called the Surfer’s corner is located close to the swimming pool and offers pizzas and cocktails.
Things to Do
One can involve oneself in water sports like snorkeling, waterskiing, diving, surfing and windsurfing in the ocean waters. There is a traditional Balinese Theatre that features daily performances by Balinese dancers and a Gamelan orchestra in an open-air amphitheatre. The Mandara Ayodya Spa consists of four Spa villas for couples, with steam rooms, and thirteen Single Treatment Rooms with rain showers, a recovery room and a library. There is a shuttle service from the hotel to the Upscale Shopping Center at the heart of Nusa Dua. Ayodya Resort is only twenty minutes away from the Bali International Airport.
